Investment made different.
Q: What about designing and implementing a Tax Plan? Are those included in the Tax Maintenance Packages?
A: No. This is a separate service that incurs a one-time investment and is quoted during the Solution Session. The Tax Plan will optimize your current tax situation for tax efficiency and your Tax Maintenance Package is designed to tweak and modify your tax plan and cover all tax needs throughout the year based on the results of the tax plan.
Q: How much does the design and implementation of the tax plan cost?
A: The one-time investment to design and implement a tax plan is quoted on a case-by-case basis depending on complexity. The investment in your tax plan design and implementation generally ranges from $10,000 to $30,000 one-time fee but can even get as high into the six figures. The commitment always provides a return on investment (see our guarantee).
Q: Do you provide any guarantees with your tax plan design services?
A: Yes! We guarantee a minimum 100% return on investment in our tax plan design services or we will refund your investment in the plan along with the plan design.
Q: How long are the Tax Maintenance Agreements?
A: The agreement runs from January 1st – December 31st. However, if you start working with us mid-year, your agreement starts 1-2 months after the delivery of your tax plan through December 31st. You’ll receive an updated proposal for the following year’s services each December.
Q: What if I want to terminate services?
A: If you no longer want to work with Cerebral, please provide 30 days’ written notice and we will part as friends. There are no termination fees but any fees paid up to the date of the cancellation are nonrefundable.
Q: Do I get a discount for paying upfront?
A: Yes! We offer a 5% discount for paying in full at the beginning of the agreement.
Q: How do I make my monthly payment?
A: We will withdraw your monthly service investment automatically via ACH direct debit and you will receive a monthly receipt for your records. An e-check authorization form will be provided upon the signing of your proposal.
Q: I noticed you offer some “a la carte” services. Can I add those onto my tax maintenance package?
A: Yes! We will update your proposal or existing agreement for any other agreed-upon services, along with adjusting the monthly investment for the addition of those new services.
Q: Do you offer tax return only engagements?
A: At this time we are only accepting clients who need the services listed in one of Tax Maintenance Packages (see the Investment Guide PDF above). We have found that the clients we work with need more than just a tax return prepared but also need proactive tax planning to ensure financial success!
